This week's focus:
Reading: Identify initial sounds, looking at the picture in a book to help you read words, produce rhyming words, point to words while we read, segmentation of sounds to make words, beginning, middle and end of a story, identifying problem and solution of a story, connecting stories to our own lives.
Math: Geometry- shapes
Social Studies/ Science: Jobs that help our community.
Writing: Adding the sounds we hear in words to label our story. Writing across several pages, continuing our stories to a second page. Writing about one specific story and staying on that topic.
Theme: Holiday Traditions Around the World.
